These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts concluded between Locarta (Elias Belke, 24161 Altenholz, Kiel) and customers via the website locarta.vip. By placing an order, you agree to these terms in full.
The presentation of products on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer but rather a non-binding online catalog. By clicking the "Complete Purchase" or "PayPal" button, you place a binding order for the items in your shopping bag. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email or start the production of your bespoke piece.
Locarta specializes in museum-quality topographic models. For designs created via the Bespoke Atelier, the customer is responsible for the selected coordinates and area boundaries. We manufacture each piece with the highest precision based on the provided parameters.
All prices quoted on the website include statutory value-added tax (VAT) where applicable. Shipping costs (typically 5.49€ for DHL tracked delivery) are displayed during the checkout process. We deliver worldwide. Any customs duties or local taxes for international shipments are the responsibility of the customer.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual choice or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
Since all topographic pieces generated via our Bespoke Atelier are manufactured specifically according to your individual coordinate selection and chosen terrain boundaries, there is no right of withdrawal for these custom-made products once production has commenced.
As each piece is custom-crafted using high-resolution 3D manufacturing, production and delivery typically take between 4 to 10 working days. We strive to meet all estimated delivery dates, but cannot guarantee them due to the bespoke nature of the manufacturing process.
Statutory warranty rights apply. We are liable for damages only in cases of intent or gross negligence. For slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations. Topographic data is based on high-precision satellite measurements; however, we do not guarantee 100% geographical accuracy for navigation or scientific purposes.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If the customer is a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Kiel, Germany. Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
