What are the dimensions of a LOCARTA sculpture?
Our signature models have a standardized base of 17.5 x 17.5 cm. The Z-axis (height) is dynamically scaled to ensure a striking 3D effect, typically ranging from 1.5 cm to 3.5 cm depending on the terrain's actual elevation profile.
Is the frame included?
You can choose to add a premium, minimalist gallery frame during the design process. We offer professional framing in matte black or refined white for a small additional fee. Every piece is designed to be displayed either in a frame on your wall or as a standalone sculptural object.
Can I choose any location in the world?
Absolutely. Our Atelier uses high-precision satellite data to generate 3D previews for any coordinate on Earth. From the Alps to the Himalayas, if it has a shape, we can craft it.
What material is used?
We utilize sustainable corn-starch based PLA. This eco-friendly material is biodegradable and provides a premium, matte-white ceramic feel. Our advanced processing captures even the finest ridge lines and architectural details with absolute fidelity.
Why do some buildings look less detailed?
Precision is our goal. However, if you select a very large area containing hundreds of buildings, the physical 3D printer may reach its resolution limits. For maximum architectural detail, we recommend choosing a smaller, more focused urban area.
